Announcements

4/16/03 Since the answers to the test from 2001 aren't posted, I'm posting my test (pdf). (Updated to be smaller and print correctly). Where I've written on the right-hand side on questions I've missed, that's the answer that I went back and looked up later.
4/01/03 I've made some notes on colorizing output with vt100 escape sequences. If you want to add some color to your driving game, these are for you!
4/01/03 I will be holding my office hours early on Wednesday, April 9th. They will be from 1pm to 2pm (instead of 2-3 as usual).
2/01/03 Before turning in your homework, be sure to take a look at the grading policy to make sure you won't lose any points unexpectedly. Note especially that error-checking system calls is required this year.
1/27/03 I've added a section on error checking to my second week's recitation notes. If you weren't in class be sure to take a look at it before doing your first homework, since error handling is required.
1/21/03 I'm adding links to the list of student web pages as I get your emails, so if your name isn't a link set up your page and email me soon.
1/08/03 Get your Unix accounts NOW! All of your assignments need to be compiled for the lab machines, so an account is essential. Remember to set your home and web directory permissions before starting any assignments.
If you need a list of lab computers for ssh-ing, check the JCC's list.
