The Department Colloquium is organized by the Colloquium coordinator(s), with the cooperation of the department faculty. For Department Colloquium coordinator(s), click the link menu item “EECS Committees” on the left.
Only the seminars announced by the EECS department are a part of the Department Colloquium and therefore count towards the EECS 500 attendance requirement.
All interested faculty and students are welcome to attend.
All full-time graduate students that entered the department after August 2001 are required to register for EECS 500. Students enrolled in EECS 500 are required to attend at least 5 of the Department Colloquium seminars each semester in order to obtain a passing grade.
Graduate students who are not required to register for EECS 500 are still encouraged to attend as many seminars as possible.
