Research and Academic Interests

Professor Li's interest is in the area of computational biology. More specifically, his research interests focus on how to design efficient computational and statistical algorithms for the characterization of DNA variations in human populations and for the identification of the correlations of DNA variations and phenotypic differences such as diseases.

Biography

Jing Li received his B.S. in Statistics from Peking University in 1995, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California at Riverside in 2004. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University as an Assistant Professor in the same year.
